Muslim conservatives will assemble at the National Monument. They will perform Friday prayer at the location.

"I believe their commitment," Jokowi said on Wednesday (11/30).

Previously, the Muslim conservatives wanted to perform Friday prayer at the Sudirman-Thamrin area. However, the police then prohibited the plan.

"The prayer will be for unity," he stated.

Several Muslim organizations staged a mass protest in Jakarta earlier this month. They demanded the police to charge Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama with blasphemy.
