PPATK Finds Suspicious Transactions During 2017 Regional Elections

Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: The Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) found suspicious financial transaction activities during the 2017 Simultaneous Regional Elections.

"We will inform the General Election Commission (KPU) and Election Supervision Board (Bawaslu)," PPATK chief Agus Badaruddin said.

"We will coordinate with KPU and Bawaslu," he said.

The 2017 regional elections were held in February. They were held in seven provinces, 18 cities and 76 regencies.

The 2018 regional elections will be held in June. They will be held in 17 provinces, 39 cities and 115 regencies.

"We are  still studying the suspicious activities," he said.
