Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) invetigators on Wednesday summoned as many as six witnesses for the electronic id card (e-KTP) graft suspect Setya Novanto.

"There are six witnesses," KPK spokesperson Febri Diansyah said.

The Golkar Party chairman was named the fourth e-KTP graft suspect last July. He was accused of abuse of power.

The House of Representatives speaker filed a pre-trial lawsuit against the suspect status earlier this month. He denied any involvement in the high-profile case.

The influential lawmaker missed a KPK summons last week. He cited a number of health issues, including vertigo, heart disease and kidney disease.
