The plenary session was started at the Parliament Building Complex this morning. The voting was initiated by the House leadership in the afternoon.

"We have made decision. We will hold voting," House Deputy Speake Fadli Zon said.

As many as 314 lawmakers approved the Perppu. Meanwhile, only 131 lawmakers rejected the Perppu.

The Perppu was supported by PDIP, Golkar, Democratic Party, PKB, PPP, Nasdem and Hanura. On the other hand, it was opposed by Gerindra, PKS and PAN.

The Perppu can be used to prevent anti-Pancasila mass organizations. It has been used to disband Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia (HTI).
