Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: The National Police questioned Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) as a suspect in a blasphemy case today.

Ahok arrived at the National Police headquarters in the morning. He came with his legal team.

"He is ready," Ahok's lawyer Sirra Prayuna said at the National Police headquarters in Jakarta on Tuesday (11/22).

"There are 15 lawyers," Sirra stated.

The National Police named Ahok as a suspect last week. The agency also decided to prevent Ahok from travelling abroad.

Several Islamic organizations reported Ahok last month after the politician made comments about the Koran.
