Jakarta: A recent survey has found that President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo is still the most electable candidate ahead of the 2019 presidential election.

In the Polmark Indonesia poll, the incumbent has an electability rate of 50.2 percent. Meanwhile, Prabowo Subianto has an electability rate of 22 percent.

"Jokowi and Prabowo are still the two political figures with the highest electability rates," said Polmark Indonesia CEO Eep Saefulloh Fatah in South Jakarta on Monday morning.

In addition, Agus Yudhoyono has an electability rate of 4.8 percent. Meawhile, Anies Baswedan has an electability rate of 4.2 percent.

"We still can have many surprises in the next 17 months," he added.

Polmark Indonesia interviewed 2,600 people from November 13-25. The non-government agency used multistage random sampling method with margin of error of +/- 1.9 percent.
