KPK Summons MK Chief Justice As Witness
Illustration (Photo: MI/Panca Syurkani), Jakarta: The Corruption Eradication Comission (KPK) summoned four Constitutional Court (MK) judges as witnesses in a bribery case involving MK judge Patrialis Akbar in connection with a judicial review on Law No.41/2014 on animal husbandry and animal health.

KPK summoned MK chief justice Arief Hidayat. The agency also summoned MK judges Aswanto, Suhartoyo and Maria Farida.

"They are all summoned as witnesses," KPK spokesperson Febri Diansyah in Jakarta on 

Patrialis allegedly accepted money from businessman Basuki Hariman. He reportedly received USD20,000 and SGD200,000.

KPK arrested him on January 25. MK suspended him two days later.
