Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: The electronic identity card (e-KTP) graft suspect Setya Novanto on Monday missed the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summons due to a health problem.

"We will submit the doctor's recommendation letter," Golkar Party secretary general Idrus Marham said.

"We will explain Setya Novanto's health situation," the senior Golkar Party politician added.

Novanto was named the fourth suspect in the e-KTP case last July. The Golkar Party chairman speaker was accused of abuse of power.

Novanto filed a pre-trial lawsuit against the suspect status earlier this month. The House of Rerpresentatives Speaker denied any involvement in the high-profile case.

The graft case occurred in 2011-2012. The case made the government lost Rp2.3 trillion.
