Former House Speaker Summoned As Witness in E-KTP Case

Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: The Corruption Eradication Commmission (KPK) will question the former House of Respresentatives Speaker Ade Komarudin as a witness in the electronic identity card (E-KTP) project graft case. 

"He will be questioned as a witnesss for SN," KPK spokesperson Febri Diansyah told Metrotvnews.com on Thursday.

The current House of Representatives Speaker Setya Novanto was named as a suspect in the E-KTP project graft case last month. The current Golkar Party chairman was accused of abuse of power.

The E-KTP project graft case happened between 2011-2012. The high-profile corruption case made the state lost around Rp2.3 trillion.

KPK  has named five suspects in the E-KTP project graft case. The anti-corruptio watchdog has summoned a number of witnesses over the past few months.
