Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: The National police will request the Indonesian Trade Union Confederation (KPSI) not to hold demonstration in Jakarta on December 2.

Several Muslim organizations will hold a rally on the same day. They will perform  Friday prayer at the National Monument.

"The demonstration can be held on the different day," said National Police spokesman Insp. Gen. Boy Rafly Amar in Jakarta on Tuesday (11/29).

"The schedule can be discussed later," he continued.

Around 100 thousand workers will hold demonstration in Jakarta on December 2. They will come from Jabodetabek, Karawang and Purwakarta.

The workers will start the demonstration at the Jakarta City Hall. They will protest against Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama.
