KPK to Name New Suspect in e-KTP Graft Case

Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will announce the new suspect in the electronic identity card (e-KTP) project graft case.

"The new suspect will be announced as soon as possible," KPK chief Agus Rahardjo said in Jakarta on Thursday.

Former Home Ministry's civil registry information management director Sugiharto was named as a suspect in 2014. He was accused of abuse of power.

Former Home Ministry's civil registry director general Irman was named as a suspect in 2016. He was accused of abuse of power.

Businessman Andi Narogong was named as a suspect in 2017. He was accused of giving bribes to public officials.

"Be patient. Just wait," Agus stated.
