Jokowi Meets With Indonesia's SEA Games Contingent

Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo received Indonesia's SEA Games contingent at Freedom Palace in Central Jakarta on Monday morning.

"You will represent Indonesia. You will repesent the ten-time SEA Games overall winner," he said.

"If you lost, 250 million people will cry with you. If you win, 250 million people will cheer for you," he added.

The country's SEA Games contingent will consist of 534 athletes. The contingent will compete in at least 30 sports.

The largest Southeast Asia's multisport event will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia this month. The event will feature 38 sports.

"We should have continuous development programs. We should prepare good competitions," the PDIP politician said.
