Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: The National Police submitted Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama's case dossier to the Attorney General Office (AGO) this morning.

"We submitted the case dossier," said National Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Rikwanto said at the AGO headquarters in Jakarta on Friday (11/25).

The police named the Jakarta governor as a suspect in a blasphemy case last week. They questioned the politician earlier this week.

National Police director for general crimes Brig. Gen. Agus Andrianto said AGO will process the case quickly. He mentioned AGO will need around one or two weeks.

"They will make decision immediately," he stated.

Previously, Muslim conservatives staged a massive protest in the capital. They demanded the government to process the case quickly.
