Situation Is Already Conducive: Jakarta Metro Police

Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: Jakarta Metro Police chief M Iriawan said the situation in Luar Batang is already conducive.

"It is already conducive," said M Iriawan in Jakarta on Friday (11/4) evening.

Previously, people in Luar Batang clashed with security forces. They threw stones toward officers.

Meanwhile, protesters started to move to the Parliament Complex. They will stay at the Parliament Complex.

Several Islamic organizations held a mass protest in front of the Presidential Palace this afternoon. They want the police to charge Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) for religious blasphemy.
