Edy Rahmayadi Elected As PSSI Chairman

Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: Edy Rahmayadi has been elected as Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) chairman for 2016-2020 period.

PSSI conducted the election in Jakarta on Thursday (11/10) afternoon. Edy Rahmayadi beat Moeldoko, Eddy Rumpoko and Kurniawan Dwi Yulianto.

Here are the election result:
Edy Rahmayadi: 79 votes
Moeldoko: 23 votes
Eddy Rumpoko: 1 vote
Kurniawan Dwi Yulianto: 0 vote

Edy Rahmayadi is a three star army general. He is currently the commander of the Army Strategic Reserves Command (Kostrad).

Previous PSSI chairman La nyala Mattaliti resigned last August after authorities named him as corruption suspect.
