Jamaah Ansar Daulah Group Behind Tangerang Attack: Police Chief

Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: National Police chief Gen. Tito Karnavian said Sultan Aziansyah (22) has links to Jamaah Ansar Daulah group.

Sultan staged an attack at a police station in Tangerang this morning (10/20). He wounded three police officers.

"He is Jamaah Ansar Daulah member. The group is old network. He is new recruitment," said Tito in Jakarta on Thursday (10/20). 

Jamaah Ansar Daulah is centered in West Java. Tito mentioned the group is affiliated to ISIS.

"Jamaah Ansar Daulah is the operator here," Tito stated.

"We need to support new terrorism law. Therefore, we can better anticipate terror attack," he concluded.
