Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: The Indonesian Trade Union Confederation (KSPI) plans to stage nationwide demonstrations on Thursday (9/29).

KSPI Secretrary General M Rusdi claimed 15-20 thousand workers will gather in Jakarta. The workers will come from the nearby regions.

"Purwakarta, Cawang, Bekasi, Depok, Bogor, Tangerang and Serang," he said at the Jakarta Metro Police headquarters in Jakarta on Tuesday (9/27).

"They will gather at the National Monument. They will walk from the City Hall, the Horse Statue, the Constitutional Court until the State Palace," he continued.

The workers will demand the government to cancel the tax amnesty program. They believe the program is only beneficial for rich people.

"We have submitted judicial review to the Constitutional court," Rusdi stated.
