Metrotvnews.com, Palangkaraya: Hot spots in Central Kalimantan rose from 92 hot spots on Wednesday (9/13) to 111 hot spots on Friday (9/15).

"According to Terra and Aqua satellites," Central Kalimantan Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) Syahril Tarigan told Metrotvnews.com.

Authorities have prepared four water bombing helicoters to reduce hot spots in the province. 

The helicopters will be deployed in Palangkaraya, Pulang Pisau, Kapuas Katingan, Pangkalan Bun, Lamandau and Sukamara.

Separately, Central Kalimantan Governor Sugianto Sabran instructed law enforcement agencies to investigate forest fires in the province.
