KPK Arrests Ex-Health Minister
Former Health Minister Siti Fadilah Supari, Jakarta: Former Health Minister Siti Fadilah Supari was arrested after she was examined by the Corruption eradication Commission (KPK) today.

Siti is a suspect in the alleged case of graft in procurement of health equipment.

"It is unfair," said Siti at the KPK headquarters in Jakarta on Monday (10/24).

Siti insisted that she is innocence. She said health minister does not have authority to choose tender winner.

"It is weird. It is so sudden," she told reporters outside the KPK headquarters.

Siti was health minister during Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono's era. She held the position from 2004 until 2009.
