Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: National Police chief Gen. Tito Karnavian said 25 protesters will enter the Presidential Palace to meet with the government representatives.

Muslim hardliners hold mass protest in the capital this afternoon. They want the police to charge Jakarta governor candidate Basuki Tjahaja Purnama for religious blasphemy.

"25 protesters will enter the Presidential Palace," said Tito in Jakarta on Friday (11/4).

"They will meet with coordinating minister for political, legal and security affairs, state secretary minister and religious affairs minister," he continued.

Tito added the police currently is processing the religious blasphemy case. He urged protesters to respect the legal process.

"We currently are processing the case," he stated.
