Indonesian Pilgrims Begin Return Journey

Metrotnews.com, Boyolali: The first batch of Hajj pilgrims from Central Java arrived at Adi Soemarmo Airport in Boyolali, Central Java on Sunday (9/18) evening.

East Java Hajj Organizing Committee spokesperson Agus Widakdo said Hajj pilgrims from Central Java will return gradually until October 1, 2016.

"The first batch is from Tegal Regency," he said.

Religious Affairs Minister Lukman Hakim Saifuddin welcomed the returnees at Donohudan Hajj Dormitory in Boyolali. Lukman said he is satisfied with Hajj management this year.

"Thank God, the flight did not face delay," he stated.
