Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: The remaining six political parties in the Kinship Coalition remain solid after PDIP threw its support to incumbent Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) and Vice Governor Djarot Saiful Hidayat for the 2017 Jakarta gubernatorial race.

The remaining six parties are Democratic Party, Great Indonesia Movement (Gerindra) Party, Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), National Mandate Party (PAN), National Awakening Party (PKB) and United Development Party (PPP).

"We cannot be divided," said Democratic Party's Jakarta branch chief Nachrowi Ramli during a press conference in Jakarta on Tuesday (9/20) evening.

The coalition will support one candidate to compete against Ahok. They will announce the candidate in one or two days.

"We will announce it before Thursday (9/22). We will have one candidate," Gerindra Party's Jakarta Branch chief Muhammad Taufik said.
