Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) believes the police will not name him as a suspect in a religious blasphemy case.

"I believe I am innocent," said Ahok in Jakarta on Tuesday (11/15).

Ahok made comments about the Koran in september. Several islamic organizations then reported Ahok to the police.

Muslim hardliners staged a mass protest earlier this month. They demanded the police to process the case.

The National Police conducted a case expose this morning. The agency will make decision at least on Wednesday (11/16).

"I believe the police will be professional," he stated.
