Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: The National Police started a case expose on a religious blasphemy case involving Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) this morning.

The National Police started the case expose around 8 AM. National Police Criminal Investigation Unit chief Insp. Gen. Ari Dono Sukmanto opened the case expose.

The agency invited around 20 experts. The agency also invited the House of Representatives Commission III, Ombudsman and the National Police Commission (Kompolnas).

"The experts will give explanations," said National Police spokesman Insp. Gen. Boy Rafli Amar at the National Police headquarters in Jakarta on Tuesday (11/15).

Previously, National Police chief Gen. Tito Karnavian said the agency will make decision at least on Wednesday (11/16).

Several Islamic organizations reported Ahok for religious blasphemy after he made comments about the Koran last September.
