Yogyakarta District Attorney's Office head Tony Spontana said the Indonesian government is still waiting for the legal process in the Philippines.

"We are still waiting," he said in Yogyakarta, on Monday (7/25/2016).

Mary Jane was arrested at Adisutjipto Airport, Yogyakarta in 2010 for smuggling 2.6 kilograms of heroin. She was given death sentence in the same year.

She was initially listed in the second round of executions last year. However, her alleged human trafficker surrendered in the Philippines on the day of execution.

The Philippine government requested Indonesia to postpone her execution so she can be examined as witness in human trafficking case.
