Metrotvnews.com, Bandung: Officials have found 34 bodies after flash floods in Garut, West Java.

"Three bodies have not been confirmed as flash flood victims," West Java Search and Rescue Agency spokesman Joshua Banjarnahor told Metrotvnews.com on Monday (9/26).

Joshua added as many as 20 people are still missing. Officials are still trying to find them.

Separately, Garut 0611 Military District Commander Lt. Col. Setyo Hani Susanto said officials will expland the search area.

"We have to stay focus. We have to remove the debris," the army official stated.

Heavy rains triggered flash floods in Garut on Tuesday (9/20) evening. The flash floods destroyed hundreds of buildings in the regency.
