Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung urged for calm ahead of a mass protest in the capital on November 4.

"It must not disturb public order," said Pramono at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Wednesday (11/2).

President Joko Widodo conducted series of meetings with political and religious leaders in the past few days. Pramono said the meetings can help ease political tension.

"Instability will harm the public," he continued.

As many as 35 Islamic organizations will hold demonstration against Jakarta governor candidate Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok). They want the police to process Ahok for religious blasphemy.
