Jokowi's Approval Rating Increases: CSIS Survey
President Joko Widodo (Photo: Antara/Ismar Patrizkii), Jakarta: A nationwide opinion poll conducted by the Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) showed President Joko Widodo's approval rating increased from 50.6 percent in October 2015 to 66.5 percent in August 2016.

The poll also showed public satisfaction increased in all key areas. Public satisfaction to the economic condition increased from 30 percent to 46.8 percent.

"Economy is still a challenge," CSIS researcher Arya Fernandes said in a press conference on Tuesday (9/13/2016).

Public satisfaction to the political condition rose from 40 percent to 53 percent, while public satisfaction to law enforcement improved from 51.1 percent to 62.1 percent.

The poll was conducted on August 8-15, 2016 in all around Indonesia with margin of error 3.1 percent.
