KPK Examines BI Governor As Witness

Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) examined Bank Indonesia (BI) Governor Agus Martowardojo as a witness in the e-KTP corruption case.

"I will talk after the examination," said Agus at the KPK headquarters in Jakarta on Tuesday (11/1).

Agus was finance minister from 2010 to 2013. Meanwhile, the corruption case occurred from 2011 to 2012.

There are two suspects in the corruption case. They are former Home Ministry's population and civil registration director general Irman and former Home Ministry's population administration information management director Sugiharto.

"Agus is a witness for Irman," said KPK spokesman Yuyuk Andriati.
