KPK wants its budget in the Draft 2017 State Budget to be increased from Rp0.766 trillion to Rp1.165 trillion.

"We proposed the budget to be increased by Rp389 billion," KPK secretary general Bimo Gunung Abdul Kadir said at the Parliament Complex in Jakarta on Monday (9/19/2016).

House Commission III head Bambang Susatyo said the commission will study the proposal.  If it is reasonable, the Commission will bring the proposal to the Budget Committee.

The House Commission III oversees human rights, security and legal affairs.
