President Jokowi Receives Highest Medal of Honour from Timor Leste
President Joko Widodo received highest decoration from Timor Leste (Photo: Dok/Istimewa), Jakarta: President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) received Grande Colar de Ordem de Timor Leste, the highest decoration awarded by The Timor Leste Government, during his visit to the country today (1/26/2016). 
According to press release received by, The medal of honour was given by Timor Leste President Taur Matan Ruak. President Jokowi was accompanied with First Lady Iriana Widodo during the ceremony.
During his visit to Timor Leste, President Jokowi leads delegation comprising of Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Darmin Nasution, Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi, Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Susi Pudjiastuti, Minister of youth and Sports Imam Nahrawi and Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung.
The invest is intended as commitment from Indonesia to be main partner of Timor Leste's development.
Several issues are in the agenda including cooperation on trade, investment, energy, infrastructures and also commitment on border settlement.
Five memorandum of understandings will be signed during the visit namely MoU on Youth and Sports Cooperation, MoU on Archival Cooperation, MoU on Climatology and Geophysics, Mou on Search and Rescue and lastly MoU on Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Resources.
