Jokowi, King Salman Discuss Indonesian Citizens in Saudi Arabia

Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: Indonesian President Joko Widodo and Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud have discussed about Indonesian citizens in Saudi Arabia.

"President Joko Widodo has entrusted Indonesian citizens in Saudi Arabia," Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi said in Jakarta on Friday.

There are around 800 thousand Indonesian citizens in Saudi Arabia.

"The government will always protect Indonesian citizens in foreign countries," she continued.

The two leaders conducted a bilateral meeting on Monday. They agreed eleven memorandums of understanding.

King Salman will visit Jakarta until March 4. He then will visit Bali until March 9.
