Saturday's attack took place near the Shiite town of Jidhafs outside the capital Manama. It was carried out by a terrorist group in the Gulf country.

The Bahraini government has instructed related authorities to investigate the case. It has started a manhunt to arrest the assailants.

"Indonesia condemned the bomb attack on police's bus in Manama City. Indonesia expressed deep sympathy and condolences to the victims and the family," the Indonesian Foreign Ministry wrote on its official twitter account @Portal_Kemlu_RI on Sunday, October 29, 2017.

"Until now, there are no report on Indonesia citizens as victims in the attack. Indonesian Citizens who wish for information & help, please kindly contact the @kbrimanama Hotline Number: +973 387 91650," the Indonesian Foreign Ministry added

Bahrain, a Shiite-majority kingdom ruled by a Sunni dynasty, has seen sporadic violence since a crackdown in 2011 on a protest movement demanding a constitutional monarchy and an elected prime minister.
