Jakarta: Indonesian President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo traveled to Kuching, Malaysia on Wednesday, November 22, 2017.

Jokowi was accompanied by Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Puan Maharani, Manpower Minister Hanif Dakhiri, the Investment Coordinating Board head Thomas Lembong and Presidential Chief of Staff Tetetn Masduki.

The Indonesia Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) politician will attend the 12th Indonesia-Malaysia Consultation Meeting. He will meet with Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak.

The media-savvy politician will discuss a wide range of bilateral issues. He will address a number of cooperation potentials.

According to the Indonesian Foreign Ministry, the two delegations will highlight ongoing border negotiations between the neighboring countries. Furthermore, they will address maritime security cooperation against the Islamic State (IS) terror group.
