Jokowi to Meet with Malaysian PM in Kuching

Jakarta: Indonesian President Joko "Kokowi" Widodo and Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak atttended the 12th Annual bilateral consultation meeting in Kuching, Sarawak on November 22, 2017.

At the meeting, the governments will discuss a wide range of bilateral issues. They will highlight ongoing border negotiations between the neighboring countries. 

In addition, the two governments will discussa number of bilateral cooperation. They will address the marime security cooperation against the Islamic State (IS) group.

"The two military forces must exchange information," the Foreign Ministry's Southeast ASia director Denny Abdi said during a press briefing on Friday afternoon.

"The two miliary institutions must ensure stability," the Foreign Ministry official added.

Furthermore, the two countries will talk about the negative campaign against the palm oil industry in the West. They will gather various experts to study the allegations.
