Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: Indonesia and the Netherlands have agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

President Joko widodo welcomed Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte at the Freedom Palace this afternoon. They addressed a wide range of issues.

"We discussed economic cooperation especially trade, investment, water management and maritime infrastructure cooperation," said Jokowi at the Freedom Palace in Jakarta on Wednesday (11/23).

"Besides that, we discussed counterterrorism cooperation," he continued.

Furthermore, Jokowi and Rutte also signed several memorandum of understandings on diplomatic, economic, agricultural, environmental and maritime cooperation.

Rutte arrived in Indonesia on Monday (11/21) night. Previously, he met Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo in Semarang and Dutch alumni in Jakarta.
