Jokowi Welcomes Swedish King at Bogor Palace

Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: Indonesian President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo welcomed Swedish King Carl XVI Gustaf at Freedom Palace in Bogor, West Java on Monday, May 22, 2017.

Jokowi talked about bilateral economic issues. The PDIP politician praised close trade relations between the two countries.

"Sweden is Indonesia's largest trade partner in Nordic region," Jokowi said.

Furthermore, Jokowi talked about global polticial issues. The former Jakarta governor mentioned similar political views between the two countries.

"Especially regarding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict," Jokowi said.

King Carl XVI Gustaf was accompanied by Queen Silvia, several government officials and a large number of company executives.
