Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: The Foreign Ministry has received the consulator notification to meet the Indonesian alleged terrorist Muhammad Ilham Syahputra.

Previously, Ilham was arrested in Marawi City, southern Philippines last week. The 23-year-old man was transported to Quezon City, northern Philippines shortly afterward.

"We have conducted an interview. We will determine the citizenship status," the Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arrmanatha Nasir said in Central Jakarta on Monday morning.

During the interview, Ilham enclosed some personal information. The Medan resident mentioned several family members.

According to reports, Ilham was recruited by Abu Sayaff leader Isnilon Hapilon in November 2016.The man's passport was retrieved by the Philippine military in April 2017.
