Interpol General Assembly to Discuss Three Strategic Issues

Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: Indonesia will host The 85th Interpol General Assembly in Nusa Dua, Bali next month.

The Foreign Ministry's counterterrorism cooperation section head Masagus Salman Isfahani said the general assembly will discuss three strategic issues namely terrorism, organized crime and cyber crime.

"Indonesia can be role model for counterterrorism," said Masagus during a press conference at the National Police headquarters in Jakarta on Wednesday (10/26).

Agus explained terrorism, organized crime and cyber crime are transnational crimes. Indonesia and other countries will share their experience about the three issues.

"The general assembly will produce recommendations," he stated.
