Solomon Islands Respects Indonesia's Territorial Integrity
Solomon Islands and Indonesia uphold the principle of non-interference (Photo:MoFA), New York: Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi conducted a bilateral meeting with Solomon Islands Foreign Minister Milner Tozaka on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York on Wednesday (9/21).

"The principle of non-interference should be upheld," Retno said at the bilateral meeting, according to a press release received on Thursday (9/22).

The two ministers agreed to strengthen cooperation between the two countries, especially in the Melanesian Spearhead Group (MSG) and the Pacific Island Development Forum (PIDF)

"Indonesia as a major country gives a lot of attention to Pacific countries," she continued.

Retno also invited Tozaka to attend the Bali Democracy Forum that will be held in Bali in the end of the year.
