Metrotvnews.com, Hangzhou: Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi has confirmed there were no Indonesian citizens among the victims of an explosion in Davao City, the Philippines.

"The Indonesian Consulate General has checked three hospitals in Davao City," Retno said on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in Hangzhou, China on Sunday, September 4.

"They continue to monitor the situation," she added.

A blast occured at a night market in Davao City on Friday (9/2) night. The terror attack killed at least 14 people.

Abu Sayyaf militant group have claimed the attack. Meanwhile, Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has declared "state of lawlessness" in the region.
