Indonesia to Propose Intelligence Sharing in ASEAN-EU Ministerial Meeting

Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: The 21st ASEAN-EU Ministerial Meeting (AEMM) will be held on October 13-14, 2016 in Bangkok, Thailand.

The ministers will discuss partnership between the two regional blocs. They will also discuss several international issues including terrorism.

"We wil propose intelligence sharing," the Foreign Ministry's poltical and security affairs director Chandra Widya Yudha said in Jakarta on Thursday (10/6).

"We need effective cooperation to combat terrorism," Chandra continued.

The meeting will produce two outcomes: Bangkok declaration and Bangkok roadmap.
