Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: Zika patient from Indonesia in Singapore has fully recovered. The Indonesian woman has been released from hospital.

"She has fully recovered," Indonesian Ambassador to Singapore Ngurah Swajaya told Metrotvnews.com on Friday (9/2/2016).

"She has been checked thoroughly. She is not pregnant," Ngurah continued.

The Singapore government has found at least 151 Zika cases in the country. Dozens of them are foreign nationals.

The Indonesian Health Ministry has issued travel advisory to Singapore. Pregnant women are advised not to travel to the city-state as Zika infection during pregnancy can cause a birth defect called microcephaly.
