Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi has reiterated Indonesia's commitment to realize the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

"Indonesia is committed to realize the 2030 Agenda and the Paris Agreement," said Retno during the 71st UN Day Commemoration in Jakarta on Monday (10/24).

"The 71st anniversary of the UN can be momentum to raise public awareness regarding partnershhip between indonesia and the UN," she stated.

Meanwhile, UN representative to Indonesia Douglas Broderick praised Indonesia for its role in the international community.

"The implementation of the SDGS encompasses global, national, local and individual levels," he stated.

The National Monument in Jakarta, the Prambanan Temple in Yogyakarta and the Tsunami Museum in Aceh will join the 71st UN Day commemorattion. The three landmarks will light up in the color of UN tonight.
