Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: Indonesia will host the 6th World Peace Forum in Jakarta on November 1-4, 2016.

The forum will be organized by Muhammadiyah, the Center for Dialogue and Cooperation among civilizations (CDCC) and Cheng Ho Multicultural and Education Trust of Malaysia.

"The forum will gather several global figures," CDCC chairman Din Syamsuddin said during a press conference in Jakarta on Tuesday (10/4).

Din mentioned the forum will highlight the threat of global extremism. The participants will share their thoughts and experiences regarding the issue.

"Extremism is the biggest threat for every civilization," Din added.

The World Peace Forum is held once every two years. It was started in 2006.
