Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: President Joko Widodo has departed from Jakarta to pay his last respects to King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

Presidential Press Bureau head Bey Machmudin said Jokowi will lay flowers at the Grand Palace in Bangkok.

"From the Grand Palace, he will go to Wisma Indonesia," said Bey in a written statement on Tuesday (10/25).

Bey added Jokowi will leave Thailand in the afternoon. He is scheduled to arrive in Jakarta around 8 PM.

King Bhumibol passed away on October 13, 2016. He was the longest-reigning monarch in the world.
