Indonesia & Armenia to Strengthen People-to-People Contacts
Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi and Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nabandian (Photo:MTVN/Sonya Michaella), Jakarta: Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi conducted a bilateral meeting with Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Naibandian in Jakarta on Tuesday (11/1) morning.

"We will strengthen economic cooperation and people-to-people contacts between Indonesia and Armenia," said Retno after the bilateral meeting.

"Two Armenian students will receive scholarships to study in Indonesia," she continued.

Meanwhile, Naibandian mentioned that they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries. They also discussed about global and regional issues.

"We also discussed about terrorism, refugee crisis and Nagorno-Karabakh," he stated.
